Embarking on the best possible start to discover their future – that’s the experience we hope to deliver for our Singtel Cadet Scholars and SIT Apprentices. This programme is designed to groom students and support them through their education while they gain opportunities to hone their skills and knowledge. As a Cadet or Apprentice, they get a choice between the Engineering or Cyber Security track.

Pioneering innovation and unlocking the digital possibilities of tomorrow is an arduous but fruitful journey we hope to share with our young and aspiring talents. We have teamed up with Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) to groom young talents in infocomm technology (ICT) and cyber security in order to prepare them for the workforce of the future. Under the Singtel Apprentice Programme, we aim to equip our Apprentices with real-world experience, enhance their technical expertise, and hone their communication skills through structured internships that form part of their degree programme.

Hear from Zhao Yue, a Product Manager from NCS Group, an information communications technology (ICT) subsidiary of Singtel. Her main role encompasses lots of decision making on the type of products delivered in the digital product world. With a good understanding of strategies, executing them and understanding user feedback, every day poses her a unique challenge.
